Her Idea!

Five Gum to the Rescue
Once she was decided on her idea to make a dress out of gum wrappers, she chose Five Gum as the coveted wrapper for her dress. She said that she really like the colors and hoped that the dress would look fantabulous once it was made.
Started With the Process
Elizabeth said that she started with the process as soon as she got to know about prom night because she knew that the dress would take time to make. She had constant motivation from her mother, but the start was the most difficult period.
What Was The Process?
Elizabeth had done her research prior to starting the process and knew just how to tackle the task. She utilized a blend of iron interfacing, mastered quilting techniques and used a layer of vinyl to finish so that there were no wrappers hanging out.
