Sia Furler, who usually goes just by Sia, is an Australian artist and songwriter who has captured hearts all around the world with her voice - she is an absolute power house - and lyrical mastery.
Her musical career began in the mid-90s when she did vocals for the acid jazz band Crisp. As a songwriter, she penned "Pretty Hurts" for Beyoncé and collaborated with Britney Spears for "Perfume," to name a few.
She has also written and recorded her own top hits such as "Chandelier," from her 2014 album 1000 Forms of Fear, and "Elastic Heart," originally produced with The Weeknd and Diplo for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, later re-released as a solo version in 2015.
On top of all this, she has retained an air of mystery
Sia has made a risky choice in the music industry: she does not show her face during her appearances and performances for a number of reasons. However, the wind worked against her during a recent concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, revealing her face briefly to fans.
"Sia, I don't Sia."
That's what both fans have been scribbling all over the Internet. If you've followed international pop sensation Sia, you know what she looks like, or you've searched her on Google Images, but you also know that she prefers to appear in public like this.
"I don't want to be famous, or recognizable."
In an interview with ABC News in 2014, she explained that she did not want to be publicly scrutinised.
"I've been writing pop songs for pop stars for a couple years and see what their lives are like and that's just not something I want," she voiced.

On the show, Sia spoke in more detail about why she chose to keep her face hidden using one of her iconic large wigs.
"I thought, 'What doesn't exist in pop music at the moment'? And it was mystery."
Sia also talked about her reasons with host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres
"Well, it's so that I can go to Target and buy a hose if I want to. Or if I'm in need of a restroom and I can't find one, I could go by the side of the road."
But her fans love her anyway
If you're a talented artist that continues to produce good music, chances are you're going to be recognized anyway. However, that doesn't keep Sia from sticking to her guns, and it seems to be working out quite well for her.
Here she is with Kanye West for their collaboration of "Reaper" in 2015.
She's also a fashion icon
Sia has used everything from two-toned wigs to oversized bows to accomplish her "public privacy." She goes above and beyond the call of duty to hide her face from the public eye. It makes us wonder why she would do such a thing.
"Iko Iko" with Natalie Portman and Jimmy Fallon
Very few people could pull off the bow like Sia, she shows great skill and talent when executing the difficult move. If you haven't already watched this playful performance, you should definitely take a minute to! We were left in awe at her performance.
She's an unconventional star
Sia also refuses to show her face at public appearances, no matter how glamorous. While most celebrities crave the spotlight, spending big bucks to advertise their pretty face to the world, Sia chooses to hide it all away behind big wigs.
The iconic blonde wig
The same applies to public performances, but she still captures her audience with her unique style and, of course, her incredible voice. It goes to show you that good music doesn't always require having to show off a pretty face.
And she still looks amazing
Watching her live may seem strange at first, but once you hear her voice, it doesn't even matter that you don't see her face. She truly has the most captivating voices we've ever heard. Her performances will tug at your heartstrings.
Sia is completely humble
The Australian singer-songwriter often includes other talents with her on stage. Here she is during an emotional performance with singing mime Bradley LeConey. We won't be surprised if you end up crying bucket loads of tears at the two amazing performers.
A tiny dazzling dancer by her side
You probably recognize the young girl, Maddie Ziegler, next to Sia. She's an award winning dancer that has starred in some of Sia's music videos, such as "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart," as well as some live performances.
Sia at Coachella 2016
Sia mesmerized her extremely large audience at the most recent Coachella music and arts festival. Here she is seen with professional dancer Stephanie Mincone. Mincone did a fantastic job as clips of Maddie played in the background, fully captivating the crowd.
The accidental preview
During her performance at Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado this past June, a gust of wind blew Sia's hair and revealed a bit of her face.
But the mystery remains. Despite the incident, Sia still has a powerful sense of mystery and incomparable twinkle about her, and that's why we love her.
